MOUNT EDEN CLUB RETAINS WATER POLO CHAMPIONSHIP

Mount Eden Swimming Club, holder of the water polo championship, staved off a challenge by Ponsonby at the Tepid Baths last evening, the mountain suburb winning by four goals to one. For the winners, de Loree scored two goals, and Witten and Champion one each. Foster scored Ponsonby* s only goal. Mr. Jack Enwright was the referee.
