MR. JOHN LOGAN pioneer of the Tuakau and OneJ>V'r° Mr. John Logan, died -Mount Eden on Wednesday at the of 86. Born at C'olchill. Ireland. They were -ben absent in Australia for nine h onthK - but returned to Tuakau, where wt' ''ncaije.l j n farming for 40 years. ben the Onewhero settlement was IS 6 '? 6 ' 1 Mr - Logan and his sons took J P land there and engaged in various intrrp riseij He was ilp member of the rukekohe Fast Road Board and the tuakau School Committee. When he retired from farming he went to live ruakau, where Mra. Logan died three -cars ago. Soon afterwards Mr. Logan removed to Mount Eden, where he has Uvrd ever since. r - Logan is survived by five sons five daughters. There are 33 grandnu, ‘ren and nigh, great-grandchildren. MR. H. L.
