DEATHS AT HORA HORA EPIDEMIC SUSPECTED (From Our Correspondent) PUKEKOHE, To-day. It is reported from the Rangirirl district that there has been an epidemic of deaths among: Maori children at the Hora Hora settlement on the southern shores of Lake Waikare. During the holidays five children are said to have died at Hora Hora in addition to others in neighbouring native settlements. As far as is known, a doctor has not been visiting the locality, and it is surmised that there has been an outbreak of some epidemic. The police and health authorities are investigating.
