PLAZA AND TIVOLI
CLARA BOW’S NEW PICTURE This evening will see the final presentation of the current programme at the Plaza and Tivoli Theatres, which includes the fine picture by Bebe Daniels, “What a Night,” also “Outcast,” a drama of a San Francisco street girl, starring Corinne Griffith. For years Eilnor Glyn has held her place as one of the most widely-read of modern novelists. Her first novel to attract attention, “The Visits of Elizabeth,” was published in 1900 and, since that time, her “Three Weeks,” “The Great Moment” and “Man and Maid,” have taken their places with the bestknown novels of the time. Many of her stories have proved unequalled screen successes. She wrote “It,” in which Clara Bow played for Paramount. Now her latest story furnishes a new vehicle for the redhaired star. It is “Three Week Ends,” the big attraction at the Plaza and Tivoli Theatres to-morrow. Another strong name was added to the cast of “Three Week Ends” when Harrison Ford was assigned to play an important role in the production. Ford plays the role of a wealthy Broadway business man whose days of playing with members of the chorus are far from over. The popular actor, who has been playing on the legitimate stage in Hollywood, is no stranger on the Paramount “lot.” His previous role at that studio was in .support of Ruth Taylor and James Hall in “Just Married,” by Anne Nichols. Ford joined a cast in support of Miss Bow which includes Neil Hamilton, leading man, Edythe Chapman, Guy Oliver, William Holden and others. Excellent supporting pictures will be shown to-morrow.
