SUBURBAN THEATRES

PROGRAMMES FOR TO-NIGHT Interesting programmes will be shown at the various Fuller-Haywa.rd suburban theatres this evening. At the Prince Edward Theatre, the sophisticated comedy by Adolphe Menjou, "His Private Life,” will be shown, also "Red Wine,” starring Conrad Nagel in a comedy of erring husbands. The Capitol Theatre, Dominion Road, will show “Forgotten Faces,” an intense underworld story with Baclanova and Clive Brook as the stars, also Chester Conklin in the mystery thriller, "The Haunted House.” The Edendale Theatre will screen "The Crowd,” a story of every-day American life, starring Eleanor Boardman, followed by “The Sea Urchin,” a charming Betty Balfour picture. At the Empire Theatre, Dominion Road, the secret service storyt "A Woman Redeemed.” is the attraction, also the Hoot Gibson "Western,” “Clearing the Trail.” At the Victoria Theatre, Devonport, the pictures will be "The Student Princf,” based on the famous musical play, and starirng Ramon Novarro, also “Blindfold,” a mystery thriller starring George O’Brien. The Grey Lynn Cinema will screen "The Crash," with Milton Sills in an exciting railway story, also "Ladybird,” a story of the New Orleans Mardi Gras, starring Betty Compson.

Conrad Nagel recently completed an important role in Cecil B. De Mille’s first all-talking picture, “Dynamite,” a story of society life.
