POSITION OF MR NORDQUIST Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. At a meeting of the New Zealand Trotting Board, in connection with the 11 . Advice- Laplander case, a letter ' received from the Otahuhu TrotClub forwarding statements by officials of the club denying the aJleSiTtions made by Mr. C. Nordciuist. The Otahuhu Club asked the board to . mand from Mr. Nordquist a substantiation of the charges, or withdr^ al ffordquist appeared before the heard personally, and the case was discussed In committee at considerable length. The following resolution was passed: ■That Mr. Nordquist be ordered to withdraw his statement, that J. Bryce hid spoken to someone in the judge's sir an( i to state definitely that he intended no reflection on the stipendiary steward"
