MR. J. P. McPHAIL TO STAND Acquiescing to the request of a deputation, Mr. J. P. McPhail, a former Mayor of the borough,. will contest the Mayoralty at the forthcoming election. Mr. McPhail is a member of the Auckland Education Board and is also chairman of the North Shore Junior High School Board.
