MASONIC OFFICERS
JUDICIAL COMMITTEE APPOINTED LECTURERS CHOSEN In his capacity as Grand Master, his Excellency the Governor-General. Sir Charles Fergusson, has carried out two important steps authorised by the Masonic Grand Lodge of New Zealand at its annual communication last November. Firstly, he has appointed a judicial committee of three, which it was decided should be set up to advise the Grand Registrar, who is appointed annually, on questions of Masonic jurisprudence and history. The committee consists of M."W. Bro. J. J. Dougall (Christchurch), R.W. Bro. J. J. Clark. P.L.G.M. (Dunedin), and R.W. Bro. C. W. Nielson. P.G.W. (Wellington). Secondly, the office of Grand Lecturer, which has been in abeyance for many years, has been revived. The Grand Master has appointed W. Bro. the Rev. A. M. Niblock to the position for the Auckland district, and W. Bro. O. C. Mazengarb for the Wellington district. The duties of these two br - thers will be to visit lodges and combinations of lodges in their districts and to deliver lectures on Masonic ethics and general principles.
