WARSHIPS AT WELLINGTON
CREW TRAINING AT TRENTHAM (Special to THE SUN) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The warships Veronica and laburnum arrived in Wellington to-day to enable the crews to go through their annual courses of musketry at Trentham. Both sloops are berthed at the Clyde Quay Wharf, where they will r€:main until April 26, when they will sail for Auckland. Early in May they will recommission for another term of service on the New Zealand station. To-day LieutenantCommander R. Hunter-Blair, D.S.C., formerly of H.M.S. Dunedin, joined the Laburnum, relieving Lieutenant-Com-mander C. O’Callaghan, D.S.O. H.M.S. Dunedin will arrive at Wellington on April 9 from Lyttelton. She will remain here until April 19, when she will sail for Tokomaru Bay and Auckland. H.M.S. Diomede will also arrive at Wellington on April 9 from Nelson, j and after taking in fuel oil at Miramar | will sail the same day for the Marl- ! borough Sounds and Napier. The Dioi mede will return to Wellington on April 20 from Napier and will sail , again on May 9 for Gisborne, Tokornaru Bay and Auckland.
