MAN WITH 40 NAMES
Sentence of hard labour for life was pagsed by the Criminal Court at Montpelier, France, on Ulysse Ruel, known as the King of Crime, who was charged with the murder of Mme. Savarin at Seve, near Rouen, on December 2, 1919. Ruel was stated to have had more than 40 aliases. He is 44 years old, and comes of a wealthy family. He has had many occupations, having been poet, painter, film actor, violinist, waiter, valet, banker, and accountant.
