NEED FOR MISSIONARIES
FRANCE’S INFLUENCE IN HER COLONIES (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) PARIS, Sunday. The Chamber of Deputies, by 331 votes to 238,_ to-day adopted a Bill providing for the readmission of certain religious orders. The Premier, M. Poincare, argued that the Bill was necessary because the influence of France in her colonial possessions is declining owing to a lack of missionaries.
