MOTORIST INJURED
Stooping to look into the engine of his car, which had broken down on the Papatoetoe side of Tamaki Bridge, Mr. Edward George Edwards, aged 52. was struck by a passing car, receiving injuries to his back and bruises on his legs. He was taken in to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance, and this morning he is reported to be recovering satisfactorily. The accident occurred early last evening. Mr. Edwards lives at 44 Mewburn Avenue, Mount Eden.
