Guffaws!—Further details of the recent boxing contest between American heavy-weights Jack Sharkey and -Silly Stribling, in which Sharkey gained a decision on points, show that it was the worst heavy-weight fight seen in America for many years. Xobody gave a hoot about the decision after seeing the two men prance for 10 rounds. By the sixth round many •spectators were yelling for their money back, and others were demanding that the referee disqualify both “fighters.” At the finish the crowd had become so resigned that it merely guffawed at the decision.
