WELLINGTON MEMORIAL
CONTRACT SIGNED (Special to THE SUX} WELLINGTON, To-day. Arrangements for the erection of a war memorial were completed when the contract between the Wellington Citizens* War Memorial Committee and Messrs. Hansford and Mills was signed. The memorial, which will take 18 months to complete, is to be built on a triangular site between Bowen Street and Lambton Quay. The foundation stone will be laid on Anzac Day by the Governor-General.
