WATERFRONT FIRE

CARS AND WOOL BURNED £150,000 BLAZE IN SYDNEY (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) SYDNEY, Friday. The largest fire in Sydney for a long time occurred at 4 a.m. to-day at Parbury’s bonded and free stores at Miller’s Point, on the waterfront. The building was destroyed, with its valuable contents, comprising wool, newsprint, motor-cars, paints, oils, and miscellaneous merchandise. The damage is estimated at £150,000. The fire made a wonderfully spectacular sight.
