DEAD GENERAL PRAISED
SARRAIL BURIED WITH SIMPLE CEREMONY (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) PARIS, Thursday. In contrast with the interment of the body of the late Marshal Foeh on Tuesday, the ( burial of the late General Sarraii at Les Invalides to-day was simple and without pomp. The Minister of War, M. Painleve, in a stirring oration praised General Sarrail’s stand before Verdun in 1914, and also his bloodless liberation of Greece from ex-King Constantine’s domination.
