MOUNTAINEER INJURED FLOODS HINDER RESCUERS Press Association HOKITIKA, To-day. Guide Larsen, while crossing the Copeland Pass from the Hermitage, received injuries as a result of losing control while glissading. The party consisted of one lady and the second guide. The injured man was left at Douglas Rock after many hours of painful travelling. A rescue party sent cut from Karangarua is being handicapped by swollen creeks.
