RIALTO AND REGENT, EPSOM
“ADORATION” A corner of a Parisian street ■with busy taxicabs darting about like dragon flies; pedestrians engaged in dodging them; loiterers, grisettes, shop girls, boulevardiers and others all in a turmoil of busy life—is one of the interesting moments in “Adoration,” Billie Dove’s latest picture, now at the Rialto and Regent. Epsom. Theatres. Miss Dove, lately a princess in a Russian palace, enters the scene in a modest street gown and encounters a former general of the Tsar’s army shining shoes! Emile Chautard plays the general. Antonio Moreno, in the masculine lead, is a waiter in another part of Paris—having been forced to fly from Petrograd as a result of the revolution. He, in the early scenes, is a prince. Paul Lukas has a villainous role in George Bancroft’s latest starring production for Paramount, “The Wolf of Wall Street.” Baclanova is featured as the wife of Bancroft in the picture. The director is Rowland V. Lee.
