MORE BANKRUPTCIES
INCREASE IN AUCKLAND Bankruptcies in Auckland this year have increased on those of last year. Twenty bankruptcies last month brought the total since the New Year to 48, 13 more than for the first three months of 1928, and only one less than for the same period in 1927. The returns for 1927 are larger because Hamilton returns were then included. Figures from Hamilton are now not taken with the Auckland returns. There were 18 bankruptcies in January, 10 in February and 20 in March.
