New Zealanders Do Well at Sydney Show
CATTLE CHAMPIONS JUDSE ' FROM CHRISTCHURCH (United P.A. —By Telegraph —* Copyright) (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Received 9.5 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. The Royal Show, which is being held in Sydney, covers 80 acres and is larger and more comprehensive than ever. Among the thoroughbred stallions exhibited the New Zealand horse Thespian, now owned by Mr. H. Munro, is attracting much attention. The display of Aberdeen Angus cattle is the largest and best in Australia. Champion* honours went to the four-year : old bull Hustler of Koira, which was imported from New Zealand and exhibited from Melbourne. The champion cow is Mr. H. Munro’s Celandine of Glenelg, also from New Zealand. Mr. H. E. Watson, of Christchurch, is the judge of the Jerseys, and also of Clydesdale stallions. The Show was opened yesterday in ideal weather. Horses furnished the principal attraction in the ring events.
