For the first time since his illness f he King received a member of the Government and participated in the affairs of the nation. This morning the Archbishops of Canterbury and York paid homage fo the King. Dressed in a frock coat, nis Majesty walked to the lounge in Craigweil House. He cordially greeted the Prime Minister, Mr. Stanly Baldwin, who formally introduced the Archbishops. The Queen lunched with the latter. Mr. Baldwin, whom the King subsequently received in his bedroom, is understood to have discussed the General Election and other State business. According to a British Official tireless message the King passed a good night, but the weather at Bognor to-day was dull, with a thick mist.
