GRAND AND LYRIC
NEW PICTURES ON SATURDAY This evening will see the final presentations of the current programmes at both the Lyric and Grand Theatres. At the Lyric Theatre the pictures are “The Sainted Devil,” an Argentine story by the late Rudolph Valentino, also “Padlocked,” starring Wallace Beery. At the Grand Theatre the pictures are Norma Talmadge’s much-discussed story of Austria during the war, “The Woman Disputed,” and “Red Wine,” with Conrad Nagel as an erring husband. On Saturday next an entirely new programme will be presented at both theatres. The first attraction will be “The Constant Nymph,” the delightfully charming picture based on the wellknown novel. Mabel Poulton is ideal in the role of Tessa, and Ivor Novello has the role of Lewis Dodd. A second big attraction will be presented in “Tommy Atkins,” an outstanding story of the Sudan, starring Lillian Hall-Davis, Henry Victor and Shayle Gardner.
