RIALTO, NEWMARKET
PICTURES ON GOOD FRIDAY A brightly-varied pictorial programme will be presented at the Rialto Theatre, Newmarket, on the evening of Good Friday. The first picture, "Two Red Roses,” will please all who see it. This entrancing story has been based on a huge song success. Liane Haid gives a remarkable performance of the varying moods of the little florist loved by two men, one a rich young man, who gives up all for her, the other a young composer. The second big attraction will be "God Gave Me 20 Cents." The title of the picture, "God Gave Me 20 Cents,” refers to two double-headed coins which bring about strange happenings in the lives of three persons. Used to decide a bet between a man and a woman, they finally bring about the reconciliation of the man with another. Lois Moran. Jack Mulhall, Lya de Putti and William Collier are the players in the picture.
