Top priced lines at Westfield yesterday included the following: Extra heavy prime steers, on account H. E. Reed, Waerenga, at £l6, sold to R. E. Stott (Birkenhead), E. Wilson (Eden Terrace). Robertson Bros. (Glen Eden) and T. Baster (Ponsonby). 20 extra choice prime heifers oh account A. Miller (Hamilton) from his Waingaro property, the tops going to R. Magill, Symonds Street, for £l2 17s 6d. Extra big -f rarrrfed solid prime wethers on account Mrs. M. Black (Opotiki), sold to J. Rowe (Newmarket), and J. Rossiter (Ellerslie), for 38s 3d. The line was one of the best seen in the yards for some weeks. Choice prime two-tooth wethers on account W. J. Hyde (Clevedon), sold to W. Scott's, Ltd., Devonport, and E. Wilson, Eden Terrace, for 365. Extra choice prime ewes on account E. Goldfinch (Tarawera), sold to Auckland Meat Company for 29s 9d. Down-cross lambs on account W. Duder (Clevedon), sold to R. and W. Hellaby, Ltd., for 28s 9d. Heavy prime Hereford runner on account C. Worker (Otahuhu), sold to J. Rowe (Newmarket), for £7 Bs.
