NEW PEACE MOVE
TIMBER-WORKERS’ STRIKE MANUFACTURERS’ MEDIATION (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) MELBOURNE, Tuesday. There was a definite move made today for the settlement of the timber trade strike, when a round table conference was held between delegates from the Chamber of Manufacturers and the Trades Union Council. High hopes are entertained with regard to the result.
