jjr. M. K. Draflin left for Wellington by last evening’s Limited. Mr. A. E. Ford, manager of the Auckland tramways, returned to Auckland this morning by the Limited. Professor W. liiddet, of the Massey Agricultural College, arrived in Auckland this morning by the Limited. Mr. A. M. Pickford, manager of Auckland Amusement Parks, Ltd., left for a short visit to Sydney by the Niagara yesterday. Mr. P. W. Maddock, North Island representative of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Films, Ltd., returned to Auckland today by the Limited from Wellington. Mr. Beaumont Smith, managing director of .T. C. Williamson (N.Z.) Films, Ltd., returned to Auckland this morning after visiting Invercargill and Wanganui. Mr. J. R- Fletcher, advertising manager for the International Harvester Company of Australia, arrived in New Zealand yesterday by the Maunganui. He left last evening by train for Wellington. Mr. Percy Lusk, son of Mr. and Mrs. fL B. Lusk, of Auckland, has been accepted for service in the Royal Flying Corps. He will leave England next month for Egypt, where he will join a training squadron. The Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward, accompanied by Mr. Vincent Ward and other members of his party, left Invercargill for Dunedin this morning.
