LOAN POLLS CARRIED (Special to THE SUN) TAURANGA, To-day. Roading improvements will be carried out as a result of loan polls which have been endorsed by the ratepayers. The Te Puna special rating area carried proposals for the raising of £2,350 for metalling: five by-roads, and £ 1.940 for metalling sections of the main highway. A proposal to raise £1,500 was carried in the Oropi special rating area for the purpose of metalling portions of the Tauranga-Rotorua main road.
