THE IZARD SISTERS

FIRST CONCERT, TUESDAY NEXT The Misses Constance and Margaret Izard, who arrived in Auckland from Vancouver by the Niagara yesterday, will commence their tour of the Dominion shortly. These . talented instrumentalists, violinist and ’cellist, will be heard in a series of three concerts commencing on Tuesday next in the concert chamber of the Town Hall. There is not the slightest doubt, judging from the enthusiastic comments of the English, Continental and Canadian Press, that a rare musical treat is to be given. Unique programmes will be presented, including work that is done by these gifted voung artists only, the beautiful duets from violin and ’cello unaccompanied. These have been arranged by themselves and are considered by competent critics as things of sheer beauty. Speical season tickets and students concessions can be obtained. The box plan is at Lewis Eady, Ltd. When preliminary arrangements were made for the visit of Misses Constance and Margaret Izard, Mr. Bernard Page, city organist at Wellington, who is presiding at the piano, could not make the trip to Aucklaigl. He has now been able to make the necessary arrangements, and it is with great pleasure announced that he will support these gifted ladies in their Auckland and Hamilton concerts.
