VAN RICH IN HAWERA CUP

(JARTH ROBERTSON left to-day for New Plymouth with Van Rich. Great Ballin, Admiral Lock and Pally’s Picture to fulfil engagements on the Hawera-Taranaki-Wanganui circuit. No fault can be found with the condition of the Royal Oak string and Garth will be unlucky if he returns empty handed. Van Rich is in fine shape and although not greatly favoured for the Hawera Cup, his consistency will be a big factor when it comes to the deciding point.
