COMING CRICKET TOURS

MARYLEBONE ASKS TERMS Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. Coming tours were discussed at a meeting of the New Zealand Cricket Council. With regard to the English team to tour New Zealand in 1930, the Marylebone Club cabled: “Please cable definitely terms and suggested programme, including matches in Australia (if any r ), and the date of leaving Auckland and returning home.” No decision has yet been arrived at. A cablegram is to be sent to the West Indian Association, stating that the council hoped soon to give a definite decision regardnig the provisional invitation of Mr. Sim for a team to visit New Zealand during the 1930-31 season.
