WHAT EMPIRE BUYS.—Statistics have been published which show that of £. 723,900,000 worth of British exports last ' year the overseas Empire absorbed £ 327,000,000 worth. The Empire's share of the exports was thus 45.5 per cent., which represents an increase of 11 cent, on the pre-war average:'—British Wireless.
