AIRPLANE DAMAGED
Uf 7DER-CARRIAGE COLLAPSES (Special to THE SUN) ' PALMERSTON N., Monday. An airplane piloted by Captain L. £ ,tedman was landing on the Manawatu 7 Lero Club’s grounds when the underc - arriage collapsed. The machine ] fitched forward on its nose, damaging l the propeller. The mishap was attributed to the roughness of the ground. Mr. S. Gardener was accompanying Captain Stedman as passenger. Neither of the occupants was hurt in any way.
