(Special to THE SUN) WHANGAREI, To-day. The annual meeting of the Whangarei Agricultural and Pastoral Society was held yesterday, Mr. L. W. Nelson presiding over a small attendance. The balance sheet showed that the realisable assets of the society exceeded the liabilities by £1,944. Tho following officers were elected; President, Mr. L. W. Nelson; vicepresident, Mr. C. V. Stringer; treasurer, Mr. 11. W. Crawford; committee, Messrs. It. R. McLennan, T. Griffin, C. Fraser, A. C. M. Finlayson. J. A Finlayson, G. .Child. G. Halse, H. Snell, N. P." Jack. R.
