WATERS SWEEP DOWN ON COUNTRY TOWN (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 10.15 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. A message from Narrandera states that a cloudburst occurred in the district. Storm waters from the watershed east of the town quickly formed a raging torrent several chains wide. In places dozens of houses were flooded to a depth of three feet. Fences and outbuildings were carried away and all the public services were disrupted. The storm was the worst in the history of the town.
