KITCHENER PARK CLUB The Kitchner Park Recreation Tennis Club is a subsidiary organisation to the Milford Progressive Association and the report of the club’s 1928-29 season will be submitted to the annual meeting of the latter this evening. The report states that the outstanding feature is the increase in membership fees, these having advanced to £72, as compared with £lB for the previous season. The excess of income over expenditure was £ 36. The membership now stands at 44, of whom 24 are women and 20 men. The club has agreed to the three primary schools of Takapuna having free use of the club’s courts on Tuesday afternoons. In view of the urgent need for p pavilion tlic committee lias had a sketcli plan of a suitable building prepared by its honorary architect, Mr. Hunt, and it is now seeking the financial help of the Takapuna Borough Council. Tf this body can be interested it is hoped that the pavilion will be ready for next season.
