MEDIUM BUSINESS, I MEDIUM FINE ARRESTED IN HOUSE Admitting at the Police Court thin morning that he was carrying on business as a bookmaker, Martin Henry Harrison, a painter, was fined £SO. , Harrison was arrested at his house j this morning by Detective- Sergeant McHugh and Detecti: e Naldfer. The detective-sergeant said that the man was not in a large way. though he ; was doing fairly well. His whs a medium business. The usual betting j material had been found and Ham- j son had £34 in his possession. It was , his first bow in the court. Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M.: As it was a ! medium business, I shall impose a i medium fine. ! Harrison was given 14 days to tine! i the monev and default was fixed at I t three months' imprisonment.
