BOWLING AT HUNTLY

PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIP (From Our Oivn Correa pendent) HUNTLY. Thursday. The pairs championship of the Huntly Bowling Club was concluded this afternoon before a large attendance. The section skip winners, veteran John Holland, and George Shaw, toed the mat in the Anal, and Holland had to acknowledge defeat at the hands of'the younger player, who his had more than his share of “outs” in championship rink play. His partner, James Douglas. was leading like a clock for regularity, and both were on their games. Tom Hall was also in form, playing a steady game. Holland played an uphill buttle to the close, but Shaw s placing was always true, and eventually he ran out champion by 24 to IS. Scores (21 heads): Douglas and Shaw, 24, v. Hall and Holland, IS.
