FIRE AT WHANGAREI

An outbreak of fire occurred at 10.45 p.m. on Thursday in the factory of Messrs. James and Whimp, coach and motor-body builders, in "Whangarei. The fire was first seen by SeniorSergeant O’Gracly, who lives next door, and one otf the owners, Mr. James, who is a member of the local fire brigade, was first on the scene. Pie checked the flames with the shop hose, and on the arrival of the brigade the outbreak was quickly suppressed. Little damage was caused.
