HEAVY BOOKINGS
TRAINS AT EASTER BIG DExMAND FOR SLEEPERS Heavy railway bookings are being recorded for the short Easter rush, and several of the trains are already almost completely booked out. The Limited express for March 2G 27 and 2S has only a few seats left,’ and the second expresses on those dates are filling rapidly. Extra cars will be added to the second expresses as they fill. One feature of this year’s bookings is the heavy demand for sleepers on the trains for Wellington. Seats have also been in demand for the third expresses which will leave for Wellington at 8.40 p.m. on March 2G, 27 and 2S.
Rotorua is to maintain its popularity judging by the seats which have already been allotted on the expresses, and on the night train which will leave Auckland on March 28. There is also to be a rush for Opua and the Bay of Islands. Seats have been booked on both day and night trains leaving for that poppi • vpsnrr.
