SOMERSET AT AVONMOUTH. To discharge cargo from New Zealand parts, the Federal Line’s steamer Somerset arrived at Avonmouth on Wednesday. The vessel sailed from “Wellington on Jaimary 2G. MANUKA FOR MELBOURNE. The local office of the Union Company advises that the passenger steamer Manuka leaves Wellington at 3 o’clock to-morrow afternoon for Melbourne direct. TOFUA SAILS TO-MORROW. —At 11 a.m. to-morrow the local office of the Union Company is dispatching the Island passenger steamer Tofua from Auckland on her monthly trip to Fiji, Tonga and Samoa. MAUNGANUI AND M A.R A MA. At 3 o’clock this afternoon ’both the Maunganui and the Marama leave Sydney for Auckland and Wellington respectively. Both vessels are due at their arrival ports next Tuesday morning. PORT ALMA’S PASSAGE. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line’s motorship Port Alma, which left Wellington on February 28 after loading at Southern ports, arrived at Balboa on "Wednesday, en route for England. BARON INCHCAPE RADlOS.—Robert Millar and Company lias been advised by radio that the steamer Baron lichcape is expected to arrive at Auckland at daylight on Wednesday next from Galveston, Texas. The vessel is bringing sulphur for discharge at Auckland, Geelong and Adelaide.

RANGITIKI REPORTS. —Advice lias >een received by the local office of the tfew Zealand Shipping- Company that the lew motor-ship Rangitiki is expected to irrive at Wellington at 3 0 p.m. next Wednesday from London and Southamp:on. The vessel has passengers and nails for disembarkation at Wellington, md cargo for discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and Bluff. NIAGARA AT SUVA. —According to sable advice received by the local office >f the Union Company, the R.M.S. Niagara arrived at Suva at 6 o’clock this morning from Vancouver, via ports, and eaves again at noon for Auckland. She Is due here on MoJidan morning, and is in the meantime announced to sail from Auckland at 10 o’clock the same evening for Sydnej\

MATAROA IN PORT. —An arrival at Auckland this morning was the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Mataroa, from Wellington. She was berthed at the Queen's Wharf, where she commences loading under the agency of A. S. Paterson and Company. The liner leaves here on April 2 for Picton, theiice Wellington, where she completes loading and finally departs at daybreak on April 13 for Southampton and London, via Panama.

SHAW, SAVILL AND ALBION CO.'S LOADING.—The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advises the following loadings for America and Home:— The Otira, on completion of her dis- : charge at Dunedin, loads at Port Chalmers, thence Oama.ru, Waik-okopu, Auckland (April 15 to April IS), and Wellington, and is scheduled to sail finally from the latter port on April 24 for London, via Rio de Janiero. L. D. Nathan and Company will act as the local agents. The Raranga, due here on Wednesday from Gladstone, discharges and then commences loading at Auckland for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow. She later fills up at New Plymouth, Wanganui, Napier. Auckland (April 33 to April 17), and Wellington, sailing finally from the last mentioned port on April 24. via Monte Video. A. S. Paterson and Company will act as the local agents. The Tainui, on completion of her discharge at Auckland, will commence loading here: thence Opua, Napier, Timaru and Wellington, and sails finally from the latter port on May 9 for Southampton and London, via Panama. The Karamea loads at Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, Nelson, Waihanui, Napier and Wellington, and clears Wellington finally on May IS f9£ London, via Panama.

GREAT BARRIER TRIP.—The Northern Company advises that the Rangitoto leaves Auckland at 8 a.m. next Wednesday. instead of Thursday, for the Great Barrier. TUTANEKAI DUE.—Due at 4.30 o'clock this afternoon from Wellington, via East Coast lighthouses, the Government steamer Tutanekai will berth at the Central Wharf to load further stores before proceeding to the Northern lighthouses. PORT CAROLINE LEFT COLON.— Homeward bound with New Zealand cargo the Commonwealth and Dominion Line's steamer Port Caroline left Colon on Wednesday, en route for London and West Coast ports of the United Kingdom. The vessel left Wellington on February 12. PORT FREMANTLE’E ITINERARY. —-The C. and D. Line advises that a slight alteration to the itinerary of the motor-ship Port Fremantle has been made. The vessel arrived at Wellington yesterday from Wanganui, and leaves to-morrow for Napier, thence she returns to Wellington to fill up, and is scheduled to clear the latter port finally on March 28 for Rotterdam, Hamburg, and London, via Panama. KEELUNG WITH CARS.—Under charter to the A. and A. Line, the EllermanBucknall cargo steamer Keelung arrived m port at 31 p.m. last night, and berthed at the Prince's Wharf this morning. She has a cargo of about 200 cars and also general merchandise. Approximately 300 cars will be unloaded at Auckland. The Keelung loaded all her cargo at New i. oik and cleared that port en February 10. She made a direct passage to Auckland, and enjoyed fine weather throughout. From Auckland the vessel will proceed to Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Wanganui to complete discharge. It is expected that she -will be sent to Sydney and Melbourne to load for Java and India. Captain N. G. Oswald is in command of the Keelung, and with him are the following officers: Chief officer, Mr. L. E. Smith; second officer. Mr. J. O. Davies; third officer, Mr. J. T. Wells; chief engineer, Mr. C. S. Campbell; second engineer, Mr. E. Harrison; third engineer, Mr. F. Simpson; fourth engineer. Mr. A. L. Wood: fifth engineer, Mr. J. MacDonald; wireless operator, Mr. IT. Sutton; chief steward, Mr. G. Howarth. Tiie New Zealand Shipping Company are the local agents for the Keelung.

The Anapawa is due at Onehunga on Sunday from Auckland and Hokianga, and leaves at 4 p.m. on Alonday for Raglan, Kawhia, and Waikato Heads.
