CYCLIST BREAKS JAWBONE

SKID ON CONCRETE ROAD While cycling along the Great South Road, Otahuhu, yesterday Mr. C. Kendrick, a nurseryman, who resides in Otahuhu, fell heavily on to the concrete roadway owing to his cycle skidding, and his jaw-bone was broken in two places. He also received severe abrasions to his face. After receiving medical attention from Dr. A. M. Ross he was sent to the Auckland Hospital. _____________
