THE BAYSWATER ROAD The unconcreted portion of the Bayswater Road was discussed at a meeting of the Takapuna Borough Council last evening. An offer to tar-seal the surface was received from the Auckland Gas Company, the price being £3OO for an 18ft. roadway, or £333 for 20ft. The length is about 31S chains. The borough engineer doubted whether the proposed sealing would stand over the winter. The council decided that the engineer report on the question.
