AIRPLANE DAMAGED
LANDING IN ROUGH COUNTRY (From Our Own Correspondent) DARGAVILLE, Thursday. When forced to land on rough and obstructed country the BlackburnBluebird airplane, at present in this district, had the under-carriage slightly damaged to-day. Lieut. lan Keith was giving the plane a test flight after some work had been done to the propeller and when he had risen to a height of about 100 feet from the racecourse a piece of canvas binding attached to the blade of the propeller became detached, making it necessary t<• kind.
