CONFERENCE AT NEW PLYMOUTH OFFICERS ELECTED Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH. Wednesday. The fifth annual conference of the Federation of New Zealand Justices of the Peace Association opened this morning, Mr. A. J. Stratford, of Auckland. presiding. Officers were elected as follow: President, Mr. H. Trimble (Taranaki): vice-president, Mr. A. Lawrence Gee (Timaru); lion, registrar, Mr. J. Salek (Wellington): lion, auditor, Mr. A. Longmore (Wellington). The report stated that the membership was 1.946, an increase of 308 for the year, during which time three new associations had been formed, at Timaru, Invercargill and Gisborne.
