"FOUR SONS” AT BRITANNIA
The dramatic story of a mother s sacrifice is told in “Four Sons,” now at the Britannia Theatre. The storv opens in a village in the Bavarian Tyrol, where a mother and her four sons are living in complete happiness. On the outbreak of war three sons join the Prussian Army, while the fourth, who had gone to America some time before, marries a beautiful heiress, and becomes a prosperous New York business man. The war forces him to choose between his love for his wife and his duty to his parents, but lie finally decides to join the American colours and fight against his brothers. On the battlefield he meets Andre, the youngest and only surviving brother, who is killed in action shortly after.
Paramount will release two of “Interference,” one all-talking version an.l the other in the ordinary silent form. The films were made separated at the Paramount studios, but they have identical casts. Clive Brook, Evelyn Brent, Doris Kenyon and William Powell play the leading roles.
