NEW CONTROL BOARD Additional nominations for the new Control Board of the Auckland Football Association will now be received up till Monday next at 5 p.m. The inclusion of any such names in the ballot will bo decided by a vote of th< delegates to the annual meeting on Tuesday night. This decision was reached at the last meeting of the A.F.A. management committee on Tuesday night. The new administration will have as one of the most important Questions l'or its consideration the proposal by the X.Z. Council of a tour by an Australian team in May and June. The tentative itinerary includes a match against Auckland on Saturday, May 25 and the third Test at Auckland on June 22. The guarantee suggested for the Auckland match is £225. It has also been decided by the controlling body to seek expert advice on the question of playing night Soccer at Blandford Bark by flood-lighting the ground.
