BABY DROWNED IN BATH
A MOTHER’S CONFESSION
SUICIDE ATTEMPT FAILS (Lnited P.A. —By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed. 9.15 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. A 12 weeks old baby was drowned in a bathroom at Canterbury. The mother is alleged to have told the police that she held the baby under the water until it was dead, intending then to commit suicide. She tried to drown herself without success.
