Special railway and steamer transport has been arranged in connection with the Thames trotting fixture on Saturday, The Northern Shipping Company’s s.s. Rangitoto will leave Auckland to-morrow (Friday), at 10.30 a.m., and again at midnight, leaving on Saturday after the races on the return journey at 6 p.m. An excursion train will leave Frankton on Saturday morning at 7.10, departing from Thames South in the evening at 6.15.
