JOCKEY OUT THE RIDER OF AMOR Press Association \Y ELLINGTON, Tuesday. An inquiry was held to-day by the judicial committee of the Wellington Racing Club regarding the riding of C. Eastwood in the Autumn Handicap at Trentham yesterday. The following finding was arrived at: “The committee is of opinion that C. Eastwood, rider of Amor, the winner of the Autumn Handicap, crossed Star Area md Tresham between the false rail and the winning post, and, while there is no evidence to show that he deliberately and intentionally crossed, the incident shows that he was riding carelessly in allowing his horse to cross practically to the rails, so interfering with the two horses mentioned. The committee therefore suspends him for one calendar month from yesterday.” AUCKLAND ACCEPTANCES Acceptances for the first day handicap events on -the card for the Auckland Racing Club’s Easter meeting, also first forfeits for the G.N.
