CONFERENCE TO MEET SOON

Press Association WELLINGTON, Tuesday. An important conference called by the Government to consider questions affecting apprentices is to be held at Wellington, commencing on April 23. It is hoped, as a result of the conference, to place before the Government concrete proposals for the amendment of the Apprentices Act. In addition to representatives of various apprenticeship committees, it is hoped to have the assistance of five representatives of the employers and five of the employees.
